Bridging the Gap"

MISSION

Our mission is to educate and inspire students to reach high standards of excellence in an arts-enriched environment that addresses their individual learning needs and styles.
Vision

Students will develop confidence through performances and will work cooperatively with others to achieve a common goal. Students will support others, learn to cope with challenges and build a foundation for an adult life of success.

RICHARD RAYBORN SCHOOL

The R Rayborn School is a K-5 nonpublic school With open admission. It gives parents and students an alternative to traditional classroom instruction as it offers a new and unique approach to teaching and learning with the Arts Integration Educational Model. Research overwhelmingly shows that the model increases student achievement and raises standardized test scores twice as fast as those of students in traditional classrooms.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

Mrs. Eartha L. Rayborn

The school was founded by Mrs. Eartha L. Rayborn and the late Rev. Richard Rayborn, Sr. whose work with and passion for ministering to at-risk youth fueled their dream for the R Rayborn School. For over 25 years, they have sponsored after-school tutorial and summer enrichment programs to augment the education of children in public schools. These programs also gave way to the rise of the Rayborn School.
